During the weekend of Nov. 7-9, The Greater Alabama Council is hosting a huge encampment for an estimated 8,000 Scouts and Scout leaders at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, AL. Military displays, rock climbing walls, fireworks, NASCAR displays, arena show featuring Alabama Blues Brothers, give-a-ways, pedal car races, giant Pinewood Derby, and great exhibits. It only costs $ 25.00 per person for a full weekend of fun, camping, and excitement. It only costs $10.00 for Saturday only visitors. The 2009 Birmingham International Auto Show will be in
Birmingham Wednesday, November 12

th from 10 AM till 10 PM, Saturday, November 15

More than 500 people attended the first bikini contest in September to dance and enjoy this exciting new event that provided fun and entertainment to the youth of Birmingham. During October’s Torneo Bikini Latino, three teams will be competing in each event, in which they will have the opportunity to win a lot of prizes. The participating attendees will be able to choose the teams and participate in the fun competition. This new event will take place in El Sol Night Club from 10 PM until midnight.
